“All great deeds and all great thoughts have a ridiculous beginning.” — Albert Camus

My name is Katie Hofmann and I value creativity.

Throughout my life I’ve found myself spending hours trying to make a project fit outside of the norm, “challenge the status quo” as some might say. I love connecting complex ideas and translating them into something unique and useful. Finding problems in the pursuit of meaningful solutions is a love of mine cultivated throughout the years.

I distinctly remember when I was 8 years old, drawing out an entire website with crayons; each paper a different page. Not much as changed:)

Skills

UX Design

Creating the perfect experience for the user may be the single most important aspect of any invention. If not perfect for the user, how can it be useful?

Marketing & Strategy

Knowing how to engage with and target your ideal customer is essential for every business. There are so many types of communication that can be used to build that lasting relationship between brand and customer.

Campaign Collaboration

Being able to bounce ideas off of each other and work fluidly creates a better outcome. Every facet of the team has to coordinate their deliverables to have the best possible product.

Animation

I like to call this, the living project. We live our world in motion. Creativity never stops, never stands still. It allows users to better visualize what it is they are looking at.

I value growth, ambition, and adventure.

Besides all that other fun stuff, in my spare time I love reading, hiking, and traveling. I recently got back from South Africa where I was able to hike Table Mountain, now officially considered one of the seven new natural wonders of the world!

As far as books go, I recently finished “The Quiet Girl” by S.F. Kosa and “The Family Upstairs” by Lisa Jewell. Highly, highly recommend if you’re into twists, turns, and unreliable narrators.
